With the advent of social media, time to communicate is becoming ever shorter, often conveyed by news and images created to capture attention stimulating immediate reactions. Rather than dialoguing social media users interact with emoji, icons that rather than expressing concepts stimulate  intentionally provoked emotions. The Street Chatters installation makes visitors reflecting on the emotional and sometimes misleading impact that social media have on users, while at the same time highlighting the duplicity of contemporary reality, the analogue and the virtual one.

Street Chatters is an exhibition curated by Laura Doro, graphic designer and Michela Codutti curator of art and design exhibitions.
