A place where Venetians and travellers meet and share a special place: the former convent of the Crociferi has always offered welcome and tranquillity to its guests and encouraged a dialogue between the city and the world. A new model of integrated hospitality around which artists, travellers and students gravitate; in the heart of the city but with all the privileges of the less-travelled paths.

The Design Market was born from the idea of proposing art and design in direct contact with the public, of all age groups, with different professions, interests and origins: but it will not be the typical craft market, as the name suggests, but an opportunity to experience a special event in a context of great value supported by a Venice Design Week brand known throughout the world. Numerous creatives will exhibit their work in an environment that will be enlivened by inclusive workshops.

Venice Design Week organized the market for the first time in the 2021 edition. Two days entirely dedicated to design and craftsmanship, in a luxurious setting: the market was hosted in the garden of the Ca’ Nigra Lagoon Resort.
