Asobi is a design studio established in 1999 by Gorazd Malačič. The international debut of the studio was at the London Design Festival in 2005 with their prototype of the spellbinding Isle Lounge sofa. In 2006, Asobi received the Design Distinction (Silver) Award in I.D. Magazine’s 52nd Annual Design Review for their fluid, futuristic Gwig LED luminaries. In 2014 at the Architizer Awards, Carbon Light, a high-performance modular LED suspension light, was selected as a finalist in lighting products.
Totem is the newest and latest in a series of extraordinary products designed by Asobi.

TOTEM
Totem – the most technically advanced illumination sculpture. Not only is Totem a statement piece by itself, it is a source of beautiful light that is tuneable from 2700 to 4000 Kelvins. Operated via remote controller you can sit in your sofa and decide on the temperature and strength of the light coming from your Totem floor lamp or Totem table lamp.
To play, to toy, to enjoy, to imagine, to illuminate. Having clear mind, having clear-cut clean geometry – we wanted to create a beautiful source of art, light and radiance. Clean structure brought us to these totems of sacred power that keep us illuminated. Vertical yet leaning, prominent yet soft, pointy yet squared – it is a signature Tokio. sculpture.
