Stefano Fronza

Stefano Fronza, 1978. Graduated from the Art Institute “A.Vittoria” of Trento (Art of metals and Goldsmiths), designs jewels experimenting techniques and materials in the laboratory of his goldsmith father. In 2000 he studied at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, working with artists and teachers such as Skubic, Holder and Hermsen. He met other contemporary jewelry artists and began collaborating with the Marijke Studio in Padua. He won a scholarship to work with Prof. Erico Nagai at the Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg. Got in touch with Bussi Buhs and draw inspiration from it. With another scholarship in 2001 he developed an interdisciplinary project in the Netherlands. Back to Italy in 2004 he resumed his work as a goldsmith in the family laboratory and his collaboration with the Marijke Studio in Padua, where he continued his exhibition, research and study activities. He exhibited at the Museo del Gioiello-Vicenza, at the Stelline Foundation-Milan, at Homi Fiera-Milan and at several exhibitions curated by Alba Cappellieri.

Leggera Flessione brooch – EASY LIVING collection

Realized starting from a series of drawings, with a detail of a photo on the surface only slightly retouched digitally, printed directly on aluminum, and to support it a sheet of PVC and titanium; the closure of the brooch is made of titanium and with harmonic steel wire.
